February's Almost Done!

Yesterday we planted 5 kinds of kale, basil, lettuces and fennel along with transplanting the first round of tomatoes.

A second planting of tomatoes went in, Oregon Spring and some slicers.

There have been lots of propagation house improvements as we are forever trying to maximize the small space to best advantage.
Plans to get some cukes and zucchini going next week in the warm corners are in the works and would definitely be our earliest attempts at pushing the season for these guys!

The few sunny days here and there lift spirits and make us remember that (real Spring) is just around the corner, even though we've been getting started for weeks. There truly aren't that many days left till the markets start and we're in full production again. Yikes!
